Nearly 3 years ago in “distant” 2015, Hrayr was searching online chess website with different functions where the users could learn and play chess. But couldn’t find a proper website, he decided to take the responsibility and do the change. He had a bright idea of creating something extraordinary that would change the life of the chess-lovers and will empower everyone to learn and play chess.
The love towards the chess and the Web-development inspired the founder of WooChess to combine these two “loves” into one single platform. With this intention, he started to put his ideas into action and create a platform which will leave its mark on the big world of online chess.

WooChess is a proactive educational platform that gives opportunity and sources to everyone who wants to learn online chess. It is the first e-learning multifunctional website that gives a huge opportunity to those who want to have effective, dynamic and productive online chess lessons.
In the past, the students had problems with online lessons, when they usually pay a certain amount of money for an hour, then log in that website, turn on their Skype or log in Team viewer and waste their time by solving the problems while connecting with the teacher. By doing all of these things they already lost approximately 10-25 minutes of their lesson, in the result they lost their time, money and had a non-effective lesson.

WooChess was created by our innovative team to put an end to your problems. It’s like he is a Super Hero of online Chess that saved the world and combined all the functions into one platform.
Our product managed to decrease all the time that is being wasted on the organizational parts of the learning and created such kind of environment where the teachers and the students will have

The students just need to sign in our website, make their profile, choose a coach and begin to learn to play chess. If they have already chosen their coach, they can start their online courses. So, that the learning process is not a problem anymore. During the lesson, the students will be able to see the board of their chess-coach and any movement he makes. Besides that, students and coaches are connected by Video Camera. As can be seen, we don’t lose human interaction.
Through our website is online and the most part of the process does the computer we couldn’t completely take out the role of human from the learning process. Consequently, therefore both coach and student communicate with each other during courses.
Another key point is that every coach has his own profile and detailed information about his career and experience; after all, the students can choose their coach, leave a comment and rate activity of coaches.
In our website, the services would be divided into 2 parts: free and paid: The Paid services will include the training with coaches, the simultaneous simuls with grandmasters. But our students will be offered many interesting, complementing and educative themes, also problems with different difficulty, tests, the best games of the best players in chess history.

That’s why WooChess is the first and the only chess study website worldwide that brings together chess coaches and chess students providing full functionality for effective chess training.
As I mentioned above, the idea of Woochess appeared still in 2015. But as it wasn’t easy accomplishing plan, the things didn't go straight ahead at the beginning.
First, the founder Hrayr created Armenian chess website calling it “Chess.am”, which is still working and being used by many people, where they get information, get entertained, read humor, play online chess and etc. After that succeeded website was created the second one which aimed to improve the life of Armenian pupils, helping them to do their chess homework and tasks. It is not a secret for chess lovers and professionals that Armenia is considered to be Super-Powerful Chess country and the Chess is mandatory subject at schools and it is not surprising that Woochess should be created just in this country.
The idea of creating Woochess has started in 2017 when Hrayr Shabazyan’s team was added with new members. Now the team consists of 7 members, such as developers, designer, manager, marketer and etc. The Wooches’s creation history is very interesting and meantime very difficult but the developing stage is more interesting and promising.
